Gwathmey on the Burchfield-Penney
When architect Charles Gwathmey (of Gwathmey Siegel and Associates) was in town last Thursday for the donors' reception at the new Burchfield-Penney Art Center, he delivered a speech about the building to the crowd gathered in its awe-inspiring main gallery.
Though the event was just for Burchfield-Penney donors and staff, Gwathmey has graciously sent along his remarks on the building, which you can read after the jump.
