Break in the action

After Saturday's blockbuster moves, we're not expecting any signings today at One Bills Drive. Obviously, the situation could change. Next up on the visit schedule for the Bills are expected to be Arizona receiver Bryant Johnson and Atlanta fullback Corey McIntyre. Tennessee tight end Ben Troupe made it out of Tampa today without a contract. He's scheduled to come to Buffalo, too. The Bills have had contact with Alge Crumpler's representatives, but there is no visit scheduled, so it's unclear if that' s simply doing due diligence.

Bills Insider is now reporting that Bryant Johnson has signed with the Bills. Crumpler's agent also denies that Crumpler is scheduled to visit the Bills tomorrow. No terms of the Johnson deal are available, but I'm shocked and stunned that a Buffalo team is making these kind of moves to improve during the offseason. Maybe Brandon, a business guy, is the type of GM who relies on his football people and not himself to make sound decisions and then gets involved with the negotiation end of it. Playoffs or not, I won't be bashing the front office after this coming season if we fall short!!! Now I'm completely pumped for the draft!

Profootballtalk.com just posted a report saying Alge Crumpler's agent denied that Crumpler will sign with the Titans. Should be an interesting story to watch.

It looks like they got Johnson and will try to sign Troupe (Crumpler went to the Titans)

Billsinsider.com is now reporting that Alge Crumpler will sign with Tennessee, while Bryant Johnson has reached an agreement with the Bills. Ben Troupe will visit with Buffalo tomorrow.

Evans/Losman trade? Are you kidding me? Get real, there is no way that goes down. They're trying to find a No. 2 guy, not a No. 2 and a No. 1!

Any news on the supposed Bryant Johnson signing?- it's hard to look for info with the Sabres game on but I'm trying.

Anything on Crumpler or the blockkbuster Evans/Losman trade to Detroit rumor?

Some say there are two seasons in Buffalo, football season and waiting for football season. Bills beat writers Mark Gaughan and Allen Wilson, along with sports columnist Bob DiCesare and reporters Rodney McKissic and Milt Northrop, offer background and perspective inside the Bills and the NFL.
