No deal yet for Johnson

Arizona receiver Bryant Johnson is about to come out for an interview with the media, and it's not being held in front of the team banner, which means he is not signed yet. This is not necessarily a simple deal, given the fact Cleveland just signed Donte Stallworth for a big deal. Stallworth got a deal that's reportedly worth $4.25 million over the first four years. Miami signed Ernest Wilford to a deal worth $13 million over four years. Johnson is more talented than Wilford.

Johnson said he had a good visit and was eager to be a Bill. "Hopefully I won't have to take any more visits after I leave here," he said. Of course, that all depends on whether the money is right. Tampa is expected to be his next stop, and Chicago is reportedly among the other teams interested.

Titans tight end Ben Troupe and Atlanta fullback Corey McIntyre, won't be nearly as tough to close. We'll update soon.

How about D.J. Hackett? This former Seahawk guy is a true number 1 receiver that would threaten opposing defenses more than Johnson. I think Johnson measures up physically, but I think Hackett has the route-running and separation ability that provide the make-up of a difference-making receiver.

How much does Josh Reed make as a soon to be #4 receiver? Bills should pony up some money and sign Johnson.

Johnson is worth the money. His speed and size are exactly what the Bills need to start strtching defenses on both sides of the QB. This guy's size will be a threat in the red zone as well. Sign him and team him up with a good TE and the Bills will start scoring inside the twenty.

I agree to an extent... lately our team has not had a good offense. The Def has been alright. We need to put points on the board. Enough said.

What's with this team? You have to be kidding. We just signed a BIG run stopping DT, another DT, and a pretty good young LB. We're also looking at the possibility of bringing in an experienced FS that, if nothing else, can help our young guys.

We had Johnson in for a visit and plan on brining in Troupe and McIntyre very soon.

I don't know about you, but the glaring needs of this team are being addressed. I'm not claiming that all of these guys are superstars, but it's refreshing to see them being active before the draft.

Don't overlook a half dozen moves because one seemingly isn't going our way.

Just sign him!!! Evans needs some help. Whats with this team lately? I'm about to lose my faith.

We can't afford to let Johnson leave town without a contract. Another year with no help for Evans is bad business.
