No Dorsey slippage

Don't expect big Louisiana State Glenn Dorsey to slip in the NFL Draft. There have been questions about the health of his leg; he suffered a fractured tibia and sprained knee ligament in his junior season. But by all accounts he looked good in LSU's pro day workout on Tuesday. He was in excellent shape, at 297 pounds. And he went through a tough hand-fighting drill with Chiefs defensive line coach Tim Krumrie with no problem. (Krumrie, the former Bills aide, is known for that drill.) Dorsey should go in the first three picks. LSU also has a big wideout in Early Doucet, a 6-foot, 208-pounder. He's probably a second-round target. He ran 4.57 in the 40-yard dash; not blazing. Best-case scenario, Doucet is Anquan Boldin. Worst-case scenario, he can't get open in the NFL and busts out.

Some say there are two seasons in Buffalo, football season and waiting for football season. Bills beat writers Mark Gaughan and Allen Wilson, along with sports columnist Bob DiCesare and reporters Rodney McKissic and Milt Northrop, offer background and perspective inside the Bills and the NFL.
