Sideline highlights
Quarterback Trent Edwards leaving practice early with a deep quad contusion is not a good sign, but backup J.P Losman looked sharp during Tuesday night's workout. He tossed crisp passes during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, including a bullet to Felton Huggins for a touchdown on a slant during 7-on-7 drills. ... One of the best highlights from Tuesday was when defensive end Ryan Denney nearly intercepted a swing pass from Edwards intended for running back Marshawn Lynch. Edwards threw the ball right at Denney but he couldn't hold on. Edwards also completed a pass to Josh Reed on an underneath route during 11-on-11 drills with several defenders in his face. ... Running back Fred Jackson made a nice one-handed grab on an underneath route from Losman during 7 on 7. ... Cornerback Ashton Youboty continued to see a lot of reps with the second team in the slot. ... The Bills wore pad for the first 45 minutes of practice. ... Another full house at St. John Fisher watched the Bills final night practice of the summer.

Wow, Look how many Bills fans are professional sports trainers with years of experience and knowledge just like our training staff. Is it worth agravating an injury and making it worse for a pre-season game? Maybe you fools want another year of JP.

A deep thigh bruise shouldn't cause him to miss any time.
It's a bruise....
I heard a rumor on another football website that Jason Peters is back in his Orchard Park home. Can anyone confirm this rumor?

Knock on wood, but just what is Edwards' injury history? I've heard grumblings that the dude is injury-prone, but what is the actual history?
