Homefield disadvantage?
A number of reporters from Canada have flocked to One Bills Drive this week to chronicle the Bills' preparations for Sunday's game in Toronto. After talking to some of them, I get the feeling that the Bills' venture up north is not well received by the public. In fact, one Toronto scribe told me that even a number of Bills season ticket holders who live up there don't want anything to do with the Bills playing games in their city. He also said there could be more than 10,000 Dolphins fans inside Rogers Centre.
Maybe the idea of having NFL games in Canada will eventually grow on Toronto natives, but it's going to take a better product than the Bills are putting on the field to make that happen.
