Scharon added to injury report

Senior receiver Ernest Jackson (foot) remains questionable for Friday's game against Ball State, as is senior fullback Chris Scharon with an undisclosed injury. Scharon's backup is Lawrence Rolle, a 5-foot-10, 240-pound junior from the Bronx who doesn't have a carry this season but has been used in short yardage situations the past several games.

---Notre Dame basketball coach Mike Brey, whose son Kyle is the backup tight end on the UB football team, will have a busy day Friday as he tries to catch the MAC title game in Detroit. The Irish play Ohio State the next day in Indianapolis.
