Seattle, 15 years later...
If you've been at all curious about just what the "Seattle sound" might be 15 years after grunge erupted from that city's limits, check out a brand new - and quite young - outfit trading under the name Man Without Wax. It's not really grunge, or post-grunge, or whatever - sounds more like these guys have been listening to the modern art-rock of bands like Muse and Queens of the Stone Age. Listen to the band's debut here.

Let's be honest. Grunge music was awful. Spare chords and lyrics. Almost no melodies. Just dreary self absorbed angst. All in all, the grunge bands were terrible. Was it edgy and rebellious as rock should be? Yes. Was it good music. No.
