Dunder Mifflin: Buffalo Branch!

Dm_2 So during the opening minutes of last night's episode of "The Office" on NBC we had confirmed that Dunder Mifflin has a BUFFALO branch. How cool is that?

It came up during the conversation in the kitchen of the Scranton Branch, as Toby was telling his co-workers about the team-building retreat organized by former temp, and now DM executive, Ryan Howard.

Of course, with Ryan and Michael Scott's history, Ryan conveniently left branch manager Michael off the list of attendees, instead inviting Toby, the H.R. director of Scranton.

So as Toby was asked who was there, he says "Dan from Buffalo".

Sure enough "Dan Gore" is the name of a character who has appeared in 3 earlier episodes when other branch managers have been shown.

Buffalo is mentioned on their "official" corporate site as having a branch, so apparently it's been out there. But as a viewer, I guess this is the first time I ever noticed.

It does make sense that we have a branch in Buffalo, afterall we're in that northeast corridor of rust-belt cities that seems to make up Dunder Mifflin, and Buffalo's known to be loyal to the "little guy" when it comes to business...

Now if only the NBC store sold merchandise that was specific to the branches, I'd load up on Dunder Mifflin: Buffalo shirts, mugs, mouse pads, etc.

Did anyone else catch that?
