Morning Links: David Archuleta to try acting
American Idol runner-up David Archuleta is going to take a try at acting. Little David has signed on to do an episode of the Nickelodeon series "iCarly," to be filmed today and to air in the Spring. He will play a contestant on an American Idol-like program, who begins to become popular as a result of the "iCarly" webcast.
It is a perfect gig for Little David, who told Seventeen Magazine months ago, that some of his favorite shows were Nickelodeon cartoons.
Archuleta's self-titled debut album, featuring his single "Crush." will be released on November 11th.

Not nearly as interesting or famous a cast this time around, but I am putting my money on Clint Black.
