OTTAWA -- Brian Campbell said today after the morning skate that he "fully expects" to stay with the Sabres after this season. But he hasn't talked to agent Larry Kelly lately and said he told Kelly to call when he has anything important that needs to be discussed.
Hmmm. If Campbell really-really-really wants a deal, shouldn't he just tell his agent to get it done so this thing doesn't get dragged right to the trade deadline and become the kind of distraction Campbell keeps saying he doesn't want to cause?
