I have never seen more overpaid idiots standing around doing nothing since watching Dick Jauron last Sunday. It seems like every Sabre d-man is clueless.

Ive seen enough of MacArthur and say send him to Portland. Give that kid Gerbe a shot now. We need offense. And we need Miller to be great not good.

Rick - Have to say I agree. Not sure who can go on waivers, but I'm not seeing any upside in keeping Mac up here.

I agree. Give Gerbe a shot. See what he can do. What can it hurt?

I don't see how miller could have played any better against Nashville. Look no further than the first goal. The puck was turned over (again) and how is it that one Nashville forward can move to the center of the the Sabres' net unmolested and then take two swings at the puck at a time when three sabres were surrounding him. That was just sloppy and lazy and it drove me nuts. However, it happened consistently last year as well. Miller has not had a great season but I will not blame him for this particular loss. Ruff needs to be more liberal with his benching because there was no way Max could have hurt the sabres chances last night.

Through all the shuffling and benching of talented players, I think it's time to look at the coach. Seems to me his ego may be starting a problem.
Max has truly been trying. Throughout all the lines shuffles and benchings it has prevented any kind of continuity. And oh yea just cut Connolly.

We at rock bottom now? Can't see where there is any place left to go but up. Dismal performance. Need to cut a couple guys and move on.

Miller was the only one who showed up to play last night. Good teams, even when they have played many games in a short period of time, dig down to find some energy to at least be competitive. It's sad when the little kid sitting behind me at last night's game picked up on all the mistakes the Sabres made and questioned his dad about them the entire game.

The only time the Sabres showed any heart was in the game's last five minutes when they did so in sheer desperation.
